The simple version

A parent or guardian can request account deletion in the app or by email. A 7-day grace period applies before permanent deletion. This page explains the process; it does not delete your account itself.

1. Request deletion in the app

  1. 1
Open School StudySign in to the family account you want to delete.
  2. 2
Go to Settings → Delete my accountReview the information shown before continuing.
  3. 3
Confirm your deletion requestFollow the on-screen steps. A 7-day grace period applies.

2. Request deletion by email

If you cannot use the app, email codebyrushi@gmail.com from the account’s email address. Use the subject “School Study account deletion”.

Include the account email address and state that you are the parent or guardian requesting deletion of that account and its associated learner data. We may verify that you are authorised to manage the account. We will confirm the request and grace-period timing after verification.

Open deletion request email ↗

This button opens a draft in your email app. Nothing is submitted until you send the email. Do not include a password, OTP, UPI PIN or payment-card information.

3. The 7-day grace period

Deletion is subject to a 7-day grace period before the account and associated information are permanently removed from active systems. If you change your mind, contact us from the account’s email address before the grace period ends and ask to cancel the deletion request.

After deletion is completed, the account and learner profiles cannot be restored through the app. Save any information you need before confirming the request.

4. What is deleted & what may remain

Deletion covers the account and associated learner information, including learner names, class selections, optional photos, colour preferences, pinned subjects, parent contact details and device associations, except information we must retain for a lawful reason.

Limited payment and order records, consent evidence, security or dispute records may remain where necessary for legal, accounting, fraud-prevention or dispute-resolution requirements. These are restricted to the necessary purpose. Mistake reports may remain in a form that no longer identifies the learner, to support content corrections. Backup copies expire or are overwritten through the relevant provider’s backup lifecycle.

See the Privacy Policy’s retention section for more information. You can ask us about the treatment of a particular record.

5. What happens to Premium

Deleting an account removes its access to learner profiles and Premium. It does not automatically entitle you to a refund. Premium is a one-time purchase with no automatic renewal; no recurring subscription needs to be cancelled.

The Refund & Cancellation Policy, its payment-error exceptions and any non-excludable rights under applicable law continue to apply.
