1. Agreement & eligibility

These terms govern School Study and its public website, operated by CodeByRushi, Nashik, Maharashtra, India. By creating an account or using the service, the parent or legal guardian accepts these terms on behalf of themselves and their child.

The account holder must be 18 years or older and be the parent or legal guardian responsible for the learner. They are responsible for accurate account information, account security, the child’s use and authorising purchases.

2. AI-generated content

School Study supports learning and revision; it is not a substitute for textbooks, classroom instruction or professional educational guidance. We do not promise marks, rankings, exam outcomes or that every answer is complete or error-free. Any limitation of responsibility is subject to rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

3. Independent educational app

School Study is an independent app, not affiliated with or endorsed by any government board, education department or textbook publisher. Syllabus references describe the intended learning coverage only and do not imply official approval.

4. Free access & Premium

The first half of every subject’s chapters is available free. Premium is purchased per class and includes all subjects and all chapters in that class, ad-free, for the chosen period.

No auto-renew. Access runs from activation for the purchased duration and ends when that period expires unless you make a new purchase. A purchase for one class does not automatically unlock another class. Payments are processed through Cashfree. The plan and amount are shown before payment.

Changes to future pricing will be shown before purchase and do not retrospectively change the price or duration of an already purchased plan.

5. Refunds & cancellation

The only exceptions under our voluntary refund policy are:

• Duplicate payment for the same intended purchase.
• Payment deducted but Premium not activated.

These issues will be fixed or refunded within 7 working days after you report the issue with the order ID and the information needed to identify the transaction. An approved refund is processed to the original payment method; the payment provider or bank may take additional time to display the credit.

There is no recurring subscription to cancel. Stopping use, changing class or deleting your account does not, by itself, create a refund entitlement. See the Refund & Cancellation Policy for how to request help.

Nothing in this policy excludes, restricts or overrides any refund, remedy or other consumer right that cannot be excluded under applicable Indian law.

6. One family, up to 3 devices

One account = one family. A maximum of 3 devices is allowed per account. Account sharing outside the family, reselling access or distributing access or content is prohibited.

Do not bypass device limits, transfer credentials to others or use the service to operate a shared paid-access service. We may suspend or terminate accounts involved in such misuse without refund, subject to applicable law. If you believe a restriction was applied in error, contact us.

7. Content ownership & permitted use

School Study’s branding, software, design and original materials are owned by CodeByRushi or the relevant rights holders. Third-party content remains the property of its respective owners. We do not claim ownership of third-party materials.

We grant your family a limited, personal, non-transferable right to use available content for study within the service and within your plan. You may not copy for redistribution, publish, sell, scrape in bulk, reproduce commercially or distribute our content or access without permission, except as expressly permitted by applicable law.

If you believe content infringes your rights, email us with the relevant page or question, your ownership details and a description of the issue.

8. Acceptable use

• Use the service for lawful personal learning and revision.
• Do not attempt unauthorised access, introduce malicious software, disrupt the service or bypass security restrictions.
• Do not submit abusive, unlawful, deceptive or unrelated material through reports or support.
• Do not impersonate another person or provide false payment or account information.
• Use “Report a mistake” constructively and avoid including unnecessary personal information.

9. Availability & account closure

We may maintain, improve or temporarily interrupt the service. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability. Any rights arising from a material service failure remain subject to applicable law and the Refund Policy.

You can request account deletion in Settings → Delete my account, with a 7-day grace period, or by email. Review the deletion instructions and Privacy Policy for what happens to information.

10. Changes, governing law & disputes

We may update these terms as the service evolves. The latest version will be posted here with its revision date. Material changes will be communicated appropriately and any acceptance required by law will be requested. Changes do not remove rights already accrued under applicable law.

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to mandatory consumer rights and the jurisdiction of competent statutory bodies, disputes are subject to the courts of Nashik, Maharashtra.

If a provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent permitted by law. Please contact us first if you need help resolving an issue.
